Licences are awarded for a five-year period. The Board and membership of Speysound are delighted their dedication and hard work has been recognised in this way. More will follow.
Speysound Radio is at a very exciting point in its development. We have applied for a Community Radio Licence and have great plans for the future. To find out what these are go to the OFCOM website, Community Radio Licence pages, and view our application.
For now we see ourselves as a work in progress!
Would you like to help us grow?
We want you to get to know us. We want to know our listeners better! So have a look round, and e-mail us, and read the blogs.
We are staffed entirely by volunteers. So if you want to join us (membership £5 p.a.!) let us know.
We need presenters, technical people, marketing advisers, general supporters to name but a few.
We have programmes covering a range of tastes - mostly music, some covering community events and local celebrities. But we always welcome fresh ideas and suggestions.
This is radio by the community and for the community.
